Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Job role and Selection process
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is a Government agency that is liable for hiring Officers into the various department of Civil services, it is the board that conducts the exams and sets the rules and criteria for the eligibility for all the candidate that are applying for the post in the UPSC, the department sets the question paper on the basis of the pre-defined syllabus determined by the board of committee set by the UPSC, it is a very difficult job to get into because once you are in you Maybe appointed as any of the following IAS, IFS, IPS, IRS, etc. which means will be responsible for the various activity and have abandoned power the board looks for all the quality that is suitable for the job and then Hirs the suitable candidate for the job.

well, in other words, there are various criteria for all the exams that are being conducted by the UPSC, the criteria may vary from department to department, on the basis of job role or on the basis of educational qualification, and on the basis of age as well.

- Firstly, the minimum age to apply for any of the job roles under UPSC the minimum age limit is 21, the maximum age limit is 32 years old,

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Exam Pattern:
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is held in three various stages under which 2 are in the form of written exam and the third is in the form of personal interview, the first written exam is known as Prelims, the second stage is Mains, and the final round is Interview which is also known as a personality test.
The prelims exam consists of two question papers which are predetermined by the UPSC Board, However, the result of these exams is not taken into consideration because this exam is taken just set and create a bifurcation among all the students. well, there are almost 1 Million students writing this exam every over hardly 1000-2000 posts it is very difficult to identify the best suitable candidate for the job, so the prelims exam sets a bar for the student all over India, and as mentioned there is 2 paper in the Prelims both are Objective types papers.
Firstly, the candidates who have obtained the predefined marks in the prelims are eligible for the mains exams, furthermore, the Mains exam has a total number of 9 Exams which consists of Language, Social studies, History, General Knowledge, and various others. The mains consists of 2 papers of objective type and additionally, the remaining 7 are of descriptive type papers, the candidate who acquires a sufficient mark is eligible for the third round that is a personal interview.
The third and final round in the UPSC exams is the Interview round which is also known as the personality test round under this round, you will be evaluated and interview by the UPSC Board members, therefore the main reason for this interview is to check the response to various aspects that comes with the role and the responsibility, accordingly, furthermore, you will be provided with the various situation and ask for an immediate response they check whether you are suitable for the job position or not, also check how your decision-making and your ability to handle the situation.
